Dr Sacha Kobilski


Dr Sacha Kobilski has a Hons Degree in Science and MBBCh from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa.  He obtained his Fellowship of the College of Radiology of South Africa in 1995. He was head of Interventional Radiology at Johannesburg Hospital, South Africa, and then worked in private practice for two years before immigrating to Australia.


Dr Kobilski took up his current position as Senior Staff Specialist at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals in August 2001.  He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Radiology. 


Dr Kobilski is currently Director of Medical Imaging at Campbelltown Hospital.  His particular interest is Interventional Radiology. He is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Sydney.



Dr Ahmed Mayat


Dr Ahmed Mayat completed his primary medical degree at the University of Natal in Durban, South Africa. His Radiology training was completed at the Durban Metropolitan Hospital also under the auspices of the University of Natal. He completed the South African Radiology fellowship in 1999 after which he worked in the Neuroradiology Unit at the Wenthworth Hospital for two years.


Dr Mayat and his family immigrated to Australia in 2001 and he took up a Staff Specialist position in the Radiology Departments at Campbelltown and Liverpool Hospitals. He has also completed the FRANZCR in 2002.


Dr Mayat has a special interest in Neuroimaging and image guided pain management. Recently he completed a course in Coronary Artery CT at Harvard Medical School in Boston. He has presented at international conferences and has also been published in peer reviewed journals.
